Payment Methods
Full payment of tuition and fees is expected by the due date printed on the registration statement for each semester. Divine Dance Institute (DDI) accepts cash, personal checks, money orders and credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover) as methods of payment. Any checks that are returned for insufficient funds will be subject to a $35.00 returned check fee. The subsequent payment must be made by cashier’s check, cash, credit card or money order. If a second check is returned for insufficient funds, the $35.00 fee will be assessed as described above and the individual or entity will not be permitted to write checks to DDI for a period of no less than 1 year. Other payment options are described below. DDI also offers a tuition payment plan for the year that allows tuition to be paid in smaller increments. Payments are set up under an automatic payment system from a credit card with payments being deducted according to the plan’s due dates for the year. An arrangement to participate in the installment payment plan requires a current credit card payment authorization on file. Students must be fully enrolled in the installment payment plan prior to their tuition due date to avoid being dropped from their classes, or additional fees. If you find that you will not return after the first semester, student are still responsible to pay for tuition through the school year. must notify Administration to cancel automatic payments, otherwise automatic deductions will occur for the duration of the dance year [September – June]. NO refunds will be provided for any tuition paid due to withdrawal. All installment agreements are subject to a $25 installment fee per semester.

Refunds (*PLEASE READ ENTIRE SECTION*)
Refunds for full-semester courses will be made through the refund date stated below.

In the event a course fails to meet the published number of days prior to the refund deadline, the deadline will be adjusted accordingly. The date a student files a withdrawal or drop form in the Administrative Office will be the date for determination of a refund. The following also applies for refunds of tuition and fees: (1.) No refund of Registration or Installment fee. (2.) Only fifty percent (50%) tuition refunded before classes begin or during the period prior to the refund deadlines as listed below for each semester. (3.) No refund of tuition after the refund deadline. (*NOTE: STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY REMAINDER OF TUITION FOR THE YEAR, IF STUDENT WITHRAWS AFTER REFUND DEADLINE.) (4.) All Refunds will be issued via check, within two weeks of withdraw date. (5.) All late starting classes have their own refund deadlines. (6.) Failure to receive reimbursement from an anticipated funding source will not be grounds for a refund after the published deadlines.

Delinquent Accounts
Delinquency in payment of any amount due from a student or former student of DDI will result in suspension of favorable actions including but not limited to: denial of registration, exclusion from classes, withholding of grades, transcripts, and letters of recommendation and/or certificates. Accounts are also subject to debt collection agencies and fees.

Tuition Payment Deadlines
Except as otherwise stated in a semester class schedule, students are expected to settle the full amount of their tuition bills at the time of registration, either by payment in full, or enrollment in the Installment Tuition Payment Plan. Students who register more than one week prior to the start of a semester who fail to pay in full will be dropped for nonpayment.  Students who enroll during the final week of registration or anytime after a semester has begun will not be dropped for nonpayment, regardless of when during the semester their classes may begin. Instead, they will be held in the courses and billed for the tuition unless the student drops the class prior to the refund deadline shown in the class schedule. Failure to attend a class is not considered to be a withdrawal and will not relieve the student from payment for the course if it has not been dropped by the refund deadline.
